My works are conceived as a response to the sensations, feelings and experiences caused by extreme situations. In this series, confinement, death, uncertainty, confinement, fears, the truth, the need to breathe and the feeling of oppression appear. Through them, I seek to express all the emotions and events that catch me, move me, mobilize me, what impacts me, what defines me, my sensitivity and expressiveness, the drama that I capture with my way of feeling, my vision of the world that I see and feel. I let myself be carried away in the moment of creation by dropping the barriers of reason. In collages, I use the materials that I have, or that I find, that I recycle. These works arise at the moment in which there was a break in the normality of the world as we knew it, producing a suspension of everyday life. The outbreak of the pandemic made tangible the fear of death as well as the uncertainty in the expectation of not knowing how and when this unexpected situation will end. This is what I try to reflect in the works that I present here.
